UI/UX & Product Design

Interfaces that make complex digital products feel clear, polished and easy to use

Zolesco can work as a design-only partner or integrate product design directly into development. The work covers user flows, information hierarchy, high-fidelity interfaces, responsive states, prototypes and reusable design systems.

Best fit

Who this is built for

  • Teams preparing a product before development
  • SaaS companies redesigning an existing interface
  • Businesses that need a premium website or dashboard design
  • Development teams requiring a structured design handoff

Business problem

What it helps solve

  • The interface is inconsistent or difficult to navigate
  • Users cannot quickly understand what to do next
  • Design decisions are not reusable across screens
  • Developers lack clear states, components or responsive guidance

Desired outcomes

What should change after the project

  • Turn a complex product or website requirement into a clearer information and interaction model.
  • Create consistent high-fidelity screens and reusable interface patterns.
  • Reduce ambiguity before development by documenting important states and flows.
  • Leave design assets that can support implementation rather than isolated presentation screens.

Price drivers

What changes the final quote

  • Number of screens, page templates, breakpoints and workflow states.
  • Research, discovery, wireframing, prototyping and usability-review depth.
  • Design-system complexity, existing brand constraints and required documentation.
  • Number of review stakeholders and the revision scope defined in the engagement.

Client inputs

What we need from the client

  • Target users, business goals, content hierarchy and known workflow requirements.
  • Existing product access, analytics or research evidence where available.
  • Brand guidelines, visual references and technical constraints that affect the interface.
  • A clear approver and consolidated feedback during review milestones.

Choose the right design intervention

Audit, redesign, systematize or leave the interface alone.

The first design decision is not automatically a full redesign. Scope should follow the actual user, product and delivery problem, with research and implementation responsibilities defined before visual production starts.

UX audit / targeted repair

The product is fundamentally sound but specific flows, navigation, accessibility or interaction states are causing measurable friction.

Watch for: Do not turn a focused usability problem into a full visual replacement without evidence that the wider system is failing.

Product UI redesign

Core flows or information hierarchy need coordinated redesign across multiple screens while the underlying product model remains viable.

Watch for: Map existing behavior, edge states and implementation constraints before replacing screens that already support useful workflows.

Design-system / handoff work

Inconsistency, repeated implementation decisions or weak design-to-development handoff are the main source of rework.

Watch for: A component library without documented states, tokens and ownership can reproduce inconsistency rather than solve it.

Do not redesign yet

The unresolved issue is product strategy, requirements, content, data quality or another dependency that visual design cannot settle.

Watch for: Resolve the upstream decision first so design does not harden an untested assumption into expensive screens.

Product-design controls

The handoff should preserve usability decisions, not just pixels.

For approved scopes, design work records the states, accessibility expectations, component behavior and implementation assumptions needed to reduce ambiguity between design and development.

  • Define representative users, priority tasks and evidence assumptions before judging interface quality.
  • Specify responsive, loading, empty, error, validation and permission-dependent states where they affect the approved flow.
  • Use current accessibility criteria as design inputs where applicable rather than postponing accessibility to final QA.
  • Document reusable components, tokens and interaction behavior when a design system is part of the scope.
  • Separate design acceptance from production implementation acceptance when Zolesco is not building the final interface.
  • Record licensed assets, source files and handoff responsibilities so downstream teams know what they may reuse and maintain.

What you receive

A focused deliverable, not a vague bucket of hours.

UX discovery and user-flow mapping
Wireframes where appropriate
High-fidelity responsive interface design
Interactive prototypes
Reusable components, tokens and design-system direction
Developer-ready handoff and implementation notes

Scope boundaries

Clear expectations before development starts.

  • Research depth, testing and workshop requirements are confirmed before the project begins.
  • Design-only packages do not include production development unless stated.
  • Stock, licensed or commissioned media costs remain separate unless included in writing.

How we deliver

A visible path from scope to handover.

  1. 01

Understand users, business goals and current friction.

  2. 02

Map flows and establish the visual/product direction.

  3. 03

Design responsive screens, states and reusable components.

  4. 04

Prototype, refine and prepare a structured developer handoff.

After launch

Ownership, deployment and after launch

  • Approved design files and documented components are handed over under the written project terms.
  • Development implementation is included only when explicitly scoped with the design engagement.
  • Future screens and product changes are separate work unless an ongoing design arrangement is agreed.
  • Usability and commercial outcomes still depend on implementation quality, traffic and the wider product or offer.

Delivery terms

The operating expectations are documented before work expands.

The delivery policy explains written scope, milestones, revisions, change control, acceptance, confidentiality, third-party dependencies, source-code handover and optional post-launch support.

FAQ

Questions before you scope it.

The final proposal is based on the actual workflow, responsibilities and acceptance criteria—not assumptions.

Can I hire Zolesco only for UI/UX design?

Yes. Design-only packages include structured developer handoff and can be used by your internal or external development team.

Do you design responsive states?

Yes. Responsive behaviour and component states are included according to the platforms and breakpoints defined in the scope.

Can you work from an existing product?

Yes. Existing interfaces can be audited and redesigned while preserving workflows that remain useful.

Design project next step

Turn the user journey into a reviewable interface scope.

Share the users, key tasks, existing product or website, and the screens or flows that create the most uncertainty. We will define the design deliverables before visual work expands.
